Tibetan Village Culture
Olivier Follmi, an internationally renowned photographer, was born in 1958 of a Swiss father and French mother.
At the age of 17, he discovered the Himalayas, exploring them for more than 25 years and thus becoming a specialist in Tibetan village culture.
In 1989 his work was awarded by the World Press Photo, and he gained an international reputation.
He then completed documentaries the world over for Life, Paris Match, Géo, National Geographic, Stern, etc.
Olivier was acknowledged by the American magazine Life as one of the world’s 50 leading photographers.
