Traditional Christmas Decorations
Traditional Christmas decorations should all be about “magic”. And what better way to welcome Christmas spirit, than forgetting all the bad, focusing on what truly matters and turning your home into a miniature festival of joy? For today we decided to gather a collection of beautiful living rooms, all of them featuring charming holiday decorations.
We believe that transforming the core of your home – whichever that may be – into a cozy and colorful interior, the magic of the traditional Christmas spirit can take place.
A Christmas decoration is any of several types of ornamentation used at Christmas time. The traditional colors of Christmas are pine green (evergreen), snow white, and heart red.
Blue and white are often used to represent winter, or sometimes Hanukkah, which occurs around the same time.
Gold and silver are also very common, as are just about any other metallic colors.
Typical winter icons include snowflakes, snowmen, icicles, and even penguins and polar bears.
Christmas is forever, not for just one day,
for loving, sharing, giving, are not to put away
like bells and lights and tinsel,
in some box upon a shelf.
The good you do for others is good you do yourself…
~ Norman Wesley Brooks
May you have the gladness of Christmas which is hope;
The spirit of Christmas which is peace;
The heart of Christmas which is love.
